The data was collected from 160 flute grinding processes during the machining of twist drills. The process was carried out on a Walter Vision 400 L with diamond abrasive grains in a hybrid bonded Q-Flute Evo 2 from Saint Gobain Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH. Various types of material from Tigra GmbH were used. In addition to the technology parameters, the currents of the machine drives, meassured surface roughness, and simulated data of the local engagement conditions are included.
