Overview The MISSION1BP–GMU-KIME dataset features synchronized wearable sensor data and reference blood pressure (BP) from 1,000 adult participants (≥ 18 years) recorded in a controlled setting. Key Dataset Highlights: Rich Sensor Array: 16-channel multi-wavelength PPG (IR, Red, Green, Blue) paired with synchronized ECG and 3-axis accelerometer data, with ground-truth BP recorded by oscillometric cuff blood-pressure monitors. AAMI/ISO Compliant: The test subset strictly meets the AAMI/ISO 81060-2 standard. Data Collection Protocol Subjects complete 4–5 measurement rounds each. In each round, a 1-minute segment of synchronized 16-channel PPG, ECG, and tri-axial accelerometer signals is captured between two reference cuff BP measurements. The target BP is the average of the two readings. Overall, N measurement rounds yield N + 1 reference BP values per subject. See protocol_flow.png for the detailed protocol. Dataset Structure The dataset is organized into two subsets: training and test. Subjects are assigned exclusively to one subset to prevent subject-level data leakage. Each subset contains one MATLAB .mat file per subject, named by the 4-digit subject ID. train/ ├── 0001.mat ├── 0002.mat └── ... test/ ├── 0013.mat └── ... train/ — 900 subjects, labeled, for model development. test/ — 100 subjects. The test set satisfies the AAMI/ISO 81060-2 BP distribution requirements and covers all adult (≥ 18 years old) age bands. Each .mat file includes: data — the signal recordings. Per round: PPG_IR_1..4, PPG_R_1..4, PPG_G_1..4, PPG_B_1..4 (16 multi-wavelength PPG channels, 500 Hz, 30,000 samples per 1-min segment); ECG (single-lead, 500 Hz, 30,000 samples); Acc_x, Acc_y, Acc_z (tri-axial accelerometer, 100 Hz, 6,000 samples). DemoInfo — age (years), sex ("male"/"female"), antihypertensive medication ("yes"/"no"), and userName (4-digit subject ID). sbpdbp — the reference SBP/DBP readings for each round, from which the per-segment target is derived.
