资源简介:
This dataset contains the numerical simulations carried over to characterize a pico-hydraulic turbine designed with a novel non-dimensional approach [1,2]. The mesh used was based on a previous mesh study [3]. The medium mesh MS1 was selected for the simulations. The simulations were made with OpenFOAMv8 open-source library using simpleFoam steady state application with multiple reference frames. Simulations where carried over for two rotor blade tip gaps and for two angular speed regimes.
Main simulations results folders are:
picoTurbineExCase/sim/results/gap05/curve/1000
picoTurbineExCase/sim/results/gap05/curve/2000
picoTurbineExCase/sim/results/gap02/curve/1000
Where gap0X folders refers to the geometry where the blade tip gap is 0.Xmm and the number on folders "1000" and "2000" refers to the angular speed in revolutions per minute.
On the meshSummary.org file a summary of the mesh characteristics is given.
