Numerical model simulations of a hillslope ecosystem for ML surrogate modellig

Data generated by forward simulation of a spatial, physically-based numerical model describing a semi-arid hillslope ecosystem. The related paper has been submitted to Ecological Modelling. The dataset is comprised of 2000 simulations of 20000 steps each, with a time interval of half a year, organized in numbered folders. For each folder, the time series of the reported variables are stored in tss (biomass, soil depth) or npy (grazing pressure) files containing their spatial average over the whole hillslope. Additionally, a boolean vector indicating whether an artificial shift in the biomass and soil depth was introduced at each time step is also provided in tss format.
