Climate extremes and mental/neurological mortality in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, 2000–2019: processed data and analysis inputs

This dataset contains processed municipal-monthly climate, demographic and mortality-derived data used to analyze associations between climate variability, climate extremes and mortality from mental disorders and neurological diseases in 76 municipalities of the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, Mexico, during 2000–2019. The repository includes temperature and precipitation anomalies, ETCCDI-like climate extreme indices, municipal identifiers, monthly population estimates and the final analytical panel used in the associated study.
