Through transcriptome sequencing screening, it was found that knocking down GAS5 significantly disrupted the mRNA expression of key factors related to aging secretion phenotype, cell cycle inhibitory proteins, and antioxidant enzymes. Overall design: This suggests that GAS5 may maintain the homeostasis of lens epithelial cells and delay aging by regulating the aging related gene network.
