Monitoring of atmospheric ice nucleating particle (INP) number concentrations on Tokyo Skytree

This repository includes the dataset for atmospheric ice nucleating particles (INPs) measued at a monitoring site located on the 458-m level floor of Tokyo Skytree in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. The number concentrations of atmospheric INPs active in the immersion mode (i.e., under conditions relevant for mixed-phase cloud formation) have been quantified by analyzing the ice nucleating ability of ambient aerosol samples collected at this site using the Cryogenic Refrigerator Applied to Freezing Test (CRAFT) system. The INP number concentrations have been measured continuously and sequentially since 1 August 2016.本数据集涵盖了日本东京都墨田区东京晴空塔458米层监测站点实测得到的大气冰核（ice nucleating particles, INPs）观测数据。针对浸润活化模式下（即与混合相云形成相关的环境条件）具备冰核活性的大气冰核数浓度，研究人员通过采用低温冷冻测试专用低温制冷系统（Cryogenic Refrigerator Applied to Freezing Test, CRAFT）分析该站点采集的环境气溶胶样品的冰核活性，完成了定量测定。该大气冰核数浓度的观测工作自2016年8月1日起便以连续且按时间序列的方式持续开展。
