Physical, biological, and chemical data were collected using radiometer, profiling reflectance radiometer, and CTD casts in a world-wide distribution from 13 September 1981 to 16 December 1999. Data were submitted by National Aeronautic and Space Administration; Goddard Space Flight Center as part of the Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor/Sensor Intercomparison and Merger for Biological and Interdiciplinary Oceanic Studies (SeaWiFS/SIMBIOS) project.
