Intestinal bacteria alteration during the combination of ginseng and cyclophosphamide in mice

Ginsenosides could facilitate the chemotherapy of cyclophosphamide, but the related mechanism is still elusive. Cyclophosphamide‘s immune anti-cancer effect is due in part to intestinal banteria, and Ginsenosides shows potential effect on modulating intestinal bacteria. Thus, in the present study, we systematically investigated the crosstalk between combination use of ginsenosides- cyclophosphamide and anti-cancer immunity mediated by intestinal microbiota.
