Transcriptomic response to acute hypoxia in the intestine of yellow catfish (Pelteobagrus fulvidraco)

This project presents the transcriptomic profile of the yellow catfish (Pelteobagrus fulvidraco) intestine in response to 96 hours of acute hypoxic stress. RNA-Seq was performed to investigate the global gene expression changes and identify key metabolic pathways, stress-responsive genes, and potential adaptive mechanisms activated in the intestinal tissue during prolonged oxygen deprivation. The data provides a valuable resource for understanding the physiological and molecular basis of hypoxia tolerance in teleost fish, with implications for aquaculture and environmental physiology.
