Satellite-derived dataset of net primary productivity (NPP, mg C m-2 day-1) and export flux (EF, mg C m-2 day-1) for the West Coast of North America on a nominal 4-km grid. Daily NPP is calculated using a modified version of the well-known Behrenfeld-Falkowski (1998) VGPM model (described in Kahru et al. 2009 and Kahru et al. 2020). EF is calculated according to the Stukel relationship in Kahru et al. 2020. The datasets are given on a grid of 320 (width) x 555 (height) with latitudes from 30 to 50 N and longitudes from 130 to 115 W with approximately 4 km step.
