Supplementary Materials and Competency Matrix for "Advancing Transformative Agency in Educommunicative Ecosystems: Contributions to Critical Ocean Literacy in Brazil"

This repository contains supplementary materials supporting the manuscript “Advancing Transformative Agency in Educommunicative Ecosystems: Contributions to Critical Ocean Literacy in Brazil.” The manuscript examines how an interinstitutional educommunicative ecosystem formed through the Brazilian Future Ocean Panel (PainelMar) and its Brazilian Ocean Horizon (HOB) program co-designed transformative competencies for critical Ocean literacy and Ocean governance. The supplementary materials document the participatory qualitative synthesis, competency-based learning framework, and Theory of Transformative Agency (TTA)-based scoring procedure used in the analysis. The materials include generative questions, documented educommunicative pedagogical practices, seeds of good practice, learning objectives, knowledge/skills/attitudes competencies, course modules, the AI-assisted and human-supervised coding protocol, the TTA competency scoring matrix, and contextual information on PainelMar/HOB.
