Sunitinib: Evaluation of effects on heart rate, body temperature and electrocardiogram after singleoral administration to conscious guinea pigs

Conscious guinea-pig chronically-instrumented with a radiotelemetry implant. N=6 Male Dunkin-Hartley guinea-pigs dosed with Sunitinib at 30, 90 and 180 mg/kg, po, in successive treatments sessions as an escalating dose design (wash-out 72h). No PK phase. Parameters: heart rate (beats/min), body temperature (?C), duration of RR, PR, PQ, QT and QRS (ms) + QTcB, QTcF, QTcH. All parameters were analysed before administration, i.e. 0.75, 0.5 and 0.25 h before dosing (baseline), then at 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 h and every hour over the 24 hours after dosing.
