Geochemistry of basement basaltic rocks of ODP Hole 131-808C@en

Major- and trace-element analyses, mineral chemistry, and Sr-Nd isotopic determinations were obtained on representative igneous rocks drilled from the Nankai accretionary complex (Site 808) during Ocean Drilling Program Leg 131. For the first time, the oceanic basement of the subducting plate below an accretionary prism has been reached.
