Sorex ornatus Genomic Resources. Sorex ornatus

The ornate shrew is distributed across central California west of the Sierra Nevada, south into Baja California, as well as the eastern slope of the southern Sierra Nevada. Some subspecies are of federal or state conservation concern. The samples in this bioproject cover most of the known range of the species, with a focus on recent survey work.. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
