Community Council

A polygon feature class of the Miami-Dade County Community Council boundaries. Each Council has seven members, six are elected and one is appointed. The Community Councils have a variety of responsibilities in local zoning decisions and recommendations on local planning. Many County departments will use this coverage for mapping and report purposes. These councils were created to bring decision-making closer to the citizens of these areas.
