THEORETICAL BASIS OF THE CLIMAX AND ANTICLIMAX STYLISTIC FIGURES AND LINGUOPOETHIC FEATURES IN THE ARTISTIC TEXT

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of the stylistic figures of climax and anticlimax, which play an important role in the science of stylistics, and their linguopoetic features in the literary text. The study highlights the linguistic essence of the gradation category, its inextricable connection with climax, and its communicative function in literary speech. Also, the semantic, syntactic, and pragmatic aspects of climax and anticlimax figures are analyzed based on examples from English and Uzbek literature. The results of the study show that climax is an important stylistic device that creates a dramatic culmination in a literary text, while anticlimax creates an ironic or satirical effect through an unexpected decline. These stylistic figures play an important role in enhancing the aesthetic and communicative effect of the text.
