Forward and backward GVC participation in agriculture and food manufacturing: Comparative developments in the EU and RCEP

The dataset contains data on variables that were used to determine the determinants of backward and forward participation in global value chains (GVCs) in the agri-food sector. The data cover the countries of the European Union (EU) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) for the years 2001-2022.
