Forward and backward GVC participation in agriculture and food manufacturing: Comparative developments in the EU and RCEP

The dataset contains data on variables that were used to determine the determinants of backward and forward participation in global value chains (GVCs) in the agri-food sector. The data cover the countries of the European Union (EU) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) for the years 2001-2022. In addition, the dataset includes results on forward and backward participation in GVCs in the agri-food sector.Backward_participation_graphs: graphs showing backward participation in GVC in EU and RCEP countries in agriculture and the food industry.
