Dataset for: Job Characteristics Associated with Nursing Professionalism: Evidence from a Cross-Sectional Study among Nurses in Kosovo

This dataset contains the anonymized analytical data supporting the study “Job Characteristics Associated with Nursing Professionalism: Evidence from a Cross-Sectional Study among Nurses in Kosovo.” The cross-sectional study included 673 registered nurses employed in public primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare institutions in Kosovo. Nursing professionalism was assessed using the 28-item Nurses’ Professionalism Inventory (NPI), while selected job characteristics were derived from the RN4CAST nurse survey. The repository includes the final anonymized dataset in IBM SPSS (.sav) and Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) formats, a codebook/data dictionary, IBM SPSS analysis syntax, and a README file. The accompanying syntax supports reproducibility of the principal descriptive, psychometric, correlation, group-comparison, and multiple linear regression analyses reported in the associated manuscript. The dataset contains no direct personal identifiers. Full wording of the NPI items is not reproduced in the public documentation; users requiring the original instrument should consult the original instrument source and applicable permissions or licensing conditions.
