The dataset provides data on Italian Municipalities policy pertaining to participatory budgeting. The dataset comprises information only on municipalities active in this field: Name, Province, Region, Population (2011 Census), nineteen dummy variables identifying those Municipality running a PB in a given year (y1994, y2002 to y2019), Number of years with PB (TOT). Overall, the dataset comprises 480 units.
