VPRS 9558 Personal Working Papers

This series consists of files (and computer tapes) maintained by individual officers of the Victorian Government Printing Office (Law Printer) (VA 1035) who were responsible for the central administration of the Law Printer during the period 1988 - 1995. (For details of the central administration of the Law Printer function refer to VPRS 9557 General Correspondence Files, Annual Single Number System.)The files contain inward and copies of outward correspondence regarding the administration of the functions of the Law Printer. The computer tapes contain copies of Victorian Government Printing Office publications such as the Victorian Government Directory 1990. This series also contains files from VPRS 9557. As it appears that these files were maintained together in individual filing cabinets, they have not been separated but left in the original order in which they were found.The accumulation of these papers and tapes apparently occurred in conjunction with VPRS 9557 until 1992. After 1992 the annual single number system was succeeded by individual filing systems maintained by officers of the Law Printer.
