Characterization of the complete plastid genome and phylogenetic implication of Micranthes octopetala (Nakai) Y.I.Kim & Y.D.Kim (Saxifragaceae), endemic to Korea

Micranthes octopetala (Nakai) Y.I.Kim & Y.D.Kim 2015 is endemic to Korea. The total length of the whole plastid genome of M. octopetala was confirmed to be 149,751 bp with 37.8% of GC content. As a result of ML tree based on the concatenated 79 protein-coding genes, M. octopetala belongs to the genus Micranthes and was positioned as the sister of other Micranthes species.
