VPRS 3861 Register Of Applications For The Establishment of State Schools

This series contains a summary record of applications for the establishment of new state primary schools. There are indications that this was the third volume used for this purpose. A preceding record of the same nature may be seen in VPRS 897 Register of Applications for Aid to New Schools and Applications for New Schools.In the main body of the register is given the name of the application, the date, the registered correspondence number, the name of the sender and the subject. Up to c 1920, where the name of the application is annotated with a number in red, this is an indication of previous correspondence with respect to the same place.
