Dataset on Navigation ability in young, middle-aged and older adults: different domains of knowledge and their relationship with visuospatial factors

87 participants, grouped by age: 30 young (20-30 years; 15 females); 27 middle-aged (55-64 years; 16 females); and 30 older (65-75 years; 15 females). Information about: - age, sex, education, MoCA, vocabulary - visuospatial working memory task (jigsaw puzzle test), Embedded Figure Test - questionnaires on wayfinding inclinations: sense of direction and spatial representation scale; attitudes toward orientation task scale (pleasure in exploring places) - Navigation performance: landmark recognition, route repetition, shortest path finding, egocentric and allocentric pointing, landmark order, map drawing tasks.
