This section of the Rental Report provides a summary of the data used in theReportThe Rental Report provides key statistics on the private rental market inVictoria. The major source for the statistics presented in the Rental Reportis the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority which collects data on all rentalbonds lodged under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.The Victorian Government through the Department of Human Services is committedto improving the speedy delivery and accuracy of private rental data for useby the community, our community sector agencies and our private sectorpartners. From the June quarter 2013 the provision of this information will beprovided more promptly after the end of the quarter through data sets in excelformat. The production of the detailed full report, which delayed promptdistribution of the core data sets will discontinue after the March 2013quarter.
