Surface prokaryotic community in South China Sea Raw sequence reads

The project was conducted by the research teams of Prof. Zheng Qiang from Xiamen University and Prof. Huang Sijun from the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology. A total of 52 samples were collected, focusing on the period from July to September from 2018 to 2020. The spatial coverage spanned most of the South China Sea, with sample particle sizes ranging from 0.22um to 20um. The amplification primers used were 515F (5'-GTGCCAGCMGCCGCGGTAA-3'), and 907R (5'-CCGYCAATTYMTTTRAGTTT-3').
