资源简介:
Serous borderline ovarian tumor (SBOT) is the most common type of BOT with favorable prognosis upon radical hysterectomy. But this surgery is not applicable to many SBOT patients, because they are at reproductive age and wish for future fertility. The major issue of performing fertility sparing surgery (FSS) on SBOT patients is the recurrence of tumors. Based on a cohort with 319 SBOT patients from 2009 to 2019, we identified five first-class and one second-class risk factors for recurrence in Han population. A random forest based online recurrence prediction tool was established and validated by internal cohort and an independent external cohort for SBOT patients. The multi-omics analysis on the original SBOT samples reveals that its recurrence is related to metabolism regulated immunological suppression. Our study identified several important clinical and molecular features of recurrent SBOT, which will contribute to develop personalized and targeted therapies to improve its prognosis. Overall design: SBOT non-recurrence and recurrence samples
