Dataset for “Invasive Alien Plant Species in Bhutan’s Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park: Distribution Patterns, Invasion Hotspots and Management Implications.”

This dataset contains field survey data on invasive alien plant species (IAPS) recorded from Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park, Bhutan, during surveys conducted in 2020. The workbook comprises three worksheets: (1) Overall Data – plot-level records of IAPS occurrence, location, habitat, elevation, disturbance type, and associated field observations; (2) Frequency Analysis – frequency of occurrence of each recorded IAPS across sampled plots; and (3) DAFOR Analysis – abundance assessment of IAPS based on the DAFOR (Dominant, Abundant, Frequent, Occasional, Rare) scale. These data support the analyses presented in the associated manuscript on the distribution patterns, invasion hotspots, and management implications of IAPS in Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park.
