Effects of biochar on carbon sequestration performance of autotrophic microorganisms in paddy soil

This study aimed to investigate the differences in the effects of straw biochar pyrolyzed at different temperatures on CO2 fixation by autotrophic microorganisms in agricultural soils and to reveal the microscopic mechanism of the process, to fill in the gaps in the study of the mechanism of action, and to provide scientific basis and guidance for the prediction of the carbon sequestration potential of biochar and its large-scale application in agriculture.
