Real-time monitoring and analysis of PM2.5 Air Quality Sub-index (IAQIPM2.5) data for the Tangqi Ancient Town section of the Grand Canal of China. Low IAQIPM2.5 indicates no PM2.5 air pollution, while high IAQIPM2.5 signifies the presence of PM2.5 pollution, prompting necessary PM2.5 prevention, control and emission reduction measures. This dataset can provide robust data support for evaluating the comprehensive ambient air quality index of the Grand Canal of China, environmental supervision and management, as well as ecological civilization construction. (1) Data Collection: Obtain real-time measured PM2.5 concentration data (PM2.5), the high threshold value of PM2.5 concentration limits (BPHi), the low threshold value of PM2.5 concentration limits (BPLo), the air quality sub-index corresponding to BPHi (IAQIHi), and the air quality sub-index corresponding to BPLo (IAQILO) for the Tangqi Ancient Town section of the Grand Canal of China via online monitoring equipment. The data update frequency is 1 minute; (2) Data Processing: Calculate the PM2.5 Air Quality Sub-index (IAQIPM2.5) using the method specified in the Technical Regulation on Ambient Air Quality of the National Environmental Protection Standard of the People's Republic of China (HJ-633-2012): IAQIPM2.5 = INT(IAQILO + (PM2.5 - BPLo) * (IAQIHi - IAQILO) / (BPHi - BPLo)) where INT[] denotes the rounding function; (3) Data Application: When IAQIPM2.5 > 50, it serves as a warning for PM2.5 pollution. The higher the IAQIPM2.5, the more severe the PM2.5 pollution, reminding relevant parties to take necessary measures for PM2.5 pollution reduction and control. IAQIPM2.5 provides a quantitative assessment tool for environmental supervision, which can prevent environmental risks, reduce harm to human health through quantitative monitoring, support the ecological civilization construction of the Grand Canal of China, promote sustainable development, and achieve the harmonious coexistence of economic benefits and environmental protection.
