Navy Operations - Small Arms Range
收藏资源简介:
Locations shown are where military training is scheduled and conducted in support of establishing and maintaining required small arms qualification certificates. Associated Danger Zone (DZ) for the NBC small arms range is established IAW CFR Title 33, Chapter II, Part 334.866. The DZ is not considered safe for low flying aircraft, vehicles, vessels or individuals when live fire is in progress at the small arms range. Anchoring of any vessel within the DZ is prohibited. The DZ will be open to fishing and general navigation when no weapons firing is scheduled, which will be indicated by the absence of any warning flags or flashing lights on the range. (Primary POC: Tim Latas, Naval Base Coronado, (619) 545-5347, Secondary POC: Michael Huber, Navy Region Southwest, (619) 532-2303) Data was acquired from the Navy and modified for use in the San Diego Ocean Planning Partnership, a collaborative pilot between the California State Lands Commission and the Port of San Diego. Modification of the original dataset included elimination of features outside the extent of the Ocean Planning effort and/or which were not applicable, reprojecting the data for use in the ocean planning mapping application, updating attribute information, and updating metadata.
