The Sigmodon hispidus is an important animal model for studying poliomyelitis and respiratory syncytial virus, but research on its biological characteristics was very limited. In order to further investigate the biological characteristics of Sigmodon hispidus and explore the further application value of this animal model, transcriptome sequencing analysis was performed on the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys and other organs of 27 week old female Sigmodon hispidus.
