Sequence alignments for Bullatosporium taxicola - FUSE

The new genus and species <i>Bullatosporium</i> <i>taxicola</i><b> </b>in <i>Mytilinidiaceae</i> is described from western Norway. Multigene analysis of the five molecular markers SSU, ITS, LSU, <i>TEF1-α</i> and <i>RPB2</i> revealed a strongly supported sister clade to the remaining strains of <i>Mytilinidiaceae</i> despite some morphological resemblance with <i>Hysteriaceae</i>, including low ascomata with a thick carbonized peridium and mainly five-septate ascospores.
