ASKAP Project AS110 - The Rapid ASKAP Continuum Survey: Stokes I Source Catalogue Data Release 1

Data products associated with the release of the first Stokes I catalogue paper (Hale+ 2021) from the Rapid ASKAP Continuum Survey (RACS). This work took the images of the tiles associated with the RACS survey (see McConnell+ 2020) at 887.5 MHz (288 MHz bandwidth) and convolved the images to a common resolution of 25”. These individual tile images were then mosaicked together to cover the majority of the sky in the Declination range -80 to +30 deg. Released are the 799 images, the associated 799 RMS maps and the combined Stokes I source and Gaussian catalogues both excluding and including the galactic plane (|b|<5 deg). Catalogues were made by running PyBDSF (see Mohan and Rafferty 2015ascl.soft02007M) over each mosaiced tile image. These tile catalogues were combined together and duplicates removed. The Gaussian catalogue includes all the Gaussian component models that were used to model the radio emission and the source catalogue includes the grouping of Gaussian into “sources” of emission which are regions that PyBDSF have determined to originate from the same source, here because they are within an island of emission above a threshold level. These are not the same catalogues released with McConnell+ 2020.

i) To return all images: search for "AS110" project and filename "*DR1*A.fits". Leave other options blank.
ii) To return all RMS images: search for "AS110" project and filename "*DR1*A_RMS.fits". Leave other options blank.
iii) Combine the above with a cone search to return an image of a position of interest.
