Next Generation 911 Road Centerlines

This data set is part of the NENA Standard NG911 GIS Data Model and is referred to as the RoadCenterlineLine layer in the GIS Data Layers Registry in NENA-STA-010 [3] and in NENA documents. The Road Centerlines feature class represents the navigable roadway network used for Next Generation 911 (NG911) call routing and location validation in North Carolina. Each feature is a linear geometry depicting the centerline of a roadway segment and includes standardized attributes required for emergency response operations. These attributes include complete road name elements, left and right address ranges with parity, directionality, and jurisdictional information.
