RoseWindow-Music: A Cross-Modal Dataset of Gothic Rose Windows and Symbolic Music Mappings

This dataset contains 1,060 curated images of Gothic rose windows used in the study “Sonifying Symmetry: Hybrid Visual-to-Musical Mapping of Gothic Rose Windows.” The dataset is divided into inside (433) and outside (627) subsets. Images originate from publicly licensed repositories and author-owned photographs. All images were resized and standardized for cross-modal AI analysis. Metadata includes source, licensing, and preprocessing details to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
