In this study, a strain of Aspergillus amstelodami was isolated from the surface of the Oreochromis mossambicus specimen. Subsequent research findings demonstrated that both 1,2-benzoisothiazolin-3-one and kathon both exhibited a significant inhibitory effect on the growth of Aspergillus amstelodami, in accordance with transcriptomic research, provides fresh insight into the molecular antifungal mechanisms manifested by isothiazolone antimicrobial agents in addressing the contamination of marine biological specimens induced by Aspergillus amstelodami.
