Global cobalt production distributed by mine source 2017

This statistic displays the distribution of cobalt production worldwide by mine source as of 2017. Some 60 percent of the cobalt produced in the world is produced as a by-product of nickel, and only two percent of the global cobalt production is as a result of primary cobalt production.
