Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) study into impacts of snow goose overpopulation on land, animals, and people near Arviat and Coral Harbour, Nunavut (NGMP ID 16EC48)

To articulate Inuit research questions about white goose overpopulation in Nunavut and then to collect Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) to answer these questions. Use these questions and answers to develop management recommendations for the species that address Inuit concerns and perspectives, and present these recommendations to land and bird managers in Nunavut. The synthesis of Inuit knowledge will allow the Inuit project participants to form their own recommendations about how to manage white geese in Nunavut.
