Dataset for: Plots at Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge on the Rodgers Plateau

This is one of three datasets at Balcones Canyonland National Wildlife Refuge studied.

This dataset represents Project 3. Project 3 is to investigate the effects of prescribed burns on woodland composition and structure across the Refuge. The Service will be substantially involved in this project and will be responsible for 1) collaborating with the Recipient to finalize site-specific protocols by 30 July 2021; 2) provide GIS shapefiles and data on site-specific burn history and fire severity by 30 June 2021; 3) provide relevant lidar datasets collected in 2017 by 30 June 2021 and 2021 when available; 4) provide logistical support including assistance with accessing study sites; and 5) provide a vehicle with 4WD capacity for accessing field sites as needed, between 15 May and 30 November 2021, between 15 May and 30 November 2022, and between 15 May and 31 August 2023.
