Riyadh vegetation morphology and cultural-landscape monitoring, 2018–2026: data and code repository

This dataset provides the data and code repository supporting a study of NDVI-detected vegetation dynamics, spatial morphology and fixed-population co-location proxies in Riyadh Governorate, Saudi Arabia, for the period 2018–2026. The repository includes processed outputs, figures, scripts, metadata, SHA256 manifests, raw PNG vegetation-mask exports and original georeferenced GeoTIFF exports from the Sentinel-2 workflow. The dataset also includes materials used for reproducibility checks, including AOI boundary files, climate-context outputs based on CHIRPS and ERA5-Land, and fixed-population co-location materials based on GHS-POP/GHSL. The repository is intentionally data/code-only. It does not include the submitted manuscript, supplementary manuscript file, MDPI/Land submission files or journal template files. These are handled separately through the journal submission system. Interpretive limits: NDVI-derived vegetation masks are raster vegetation indicators, not official public parks or measured public-access green spaces. Fixed-population co-location metrics are spatial-overlap proxies, not direct accessibility or full equity measurements. Climate associations are descriptive, not causal. Cultural heritage and sustainable tourism are treated as methodological transferability domains, not as measured heritage-condition or tourism-demand outcomes.
