Neoagarooligosaccharides improve gut health and function via promoting the production of spermidine by Faecalibacterium in chickens --metagenome

Neoagarooligosaccharides have great prebiotic potentials for human and animals health, but the relevant mechanisms still need to be elucidated. Herein, we cloned and expressed marine bacterial agarase in Pichia pastoris GS115 and investigated the role and the underlying mechanisms of the enzymatically prepared NAOS in improving chicken gut health and function. This part of the data is the metagenomic data for chicken cecum.
