The Ocean Serial data in this accession was collected from 8 countries as part of Global Ocean Data Archeaology and Rescue (GODAR) project. The data was collected between January 18, 1972 and December 9, 1994. Oceanographic Station Data contain physical and chemical oceanographic data recorded at discrete depth levels. The data containing 7,753 profiles of Ocean Serial data and chlorophyll data was submitted to NODC by Dr. Harry Dooley, International Council for Exploration of the Sea, Denmark via internet.
