Share of FDI in financial intermediation and insurance sector in Romania 2009-2019

The share of foreign direct investments in the financial intermediation and insurance sector in Romania slowly decreased over the observed period, after peaking in 2009 at 19 percent. In 2019, FDI in financial intermediation and insurance accounted only for 11.5 percent of FDI.
