Whole genome sequences of NBRC0740 and NBRC1876 was determined by next generation sequencer HiSeq2500. Whole length of genome of Z. rouxii NBRC0740 is same to that of Z. rouxii type strains CBS732 (NBRC1130). On the other hand, whole length of genome of Zygosaccharomyces sp. NBRC1876 is twice as large as those of other stains. From this result, it is deduced that Zygosaccharomyces sp. NBRC1876 is natural interspecies hybrid between Z. rouxii and related species.
