The article characterises the binary indicator of sustained autonomic arousal that remains lawful in classrooms under the EU AI Act (Study 1). It also pre-registers a vignette experiment on whether teachers re-infer an emotion from that indicator (Study 2). Study 2 has not been run, and no practitioner data exist yet.
