RNA-Seq of wild type and ncl1? strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (BY4741) treated with high levels of cysteine

RNA was isolated from 30 ml culture of WT and ncl1?, treated with and without 1 mM cysteine for 6 hours using Acid-phenol based method. Crude RNA was then purified using RNAeasy mini kit (Qiagen,USA) followed by DNAse treatment (TURBO™ DNase, Ambion ). RNA sequencing libraries were prepared using the Illumina Truseq Truseq RNA sample prep kit v2 as per manufacturer's protocol. Sequencing runs were performed on a HiSeq 2000 Illumina platform.
