VPRS 5388 Debt Attachment Book

Debt attachment occurs when a creditor, having won a judgment against a debtor and not yet compensated, prevents a third party (or garnishee) from paying sums owing to the debtor and instead insures that the money is paid to the creditor.This series contains the details of debt attachment relating to civil actions heard in the Supreme Court. Details give the number of the action (as given in VPRS 5328 Action / Cause Books), the names of plaintiff and defendant, the date of the attachment, the amount recovered and the details of the order or the name of the garnishee.
