England Peat Map Peatland Restoration Register

The England Peat Map Peatland Restoration Register is a national geospatial dataset that records peatland restoration activity across England. The register supports monitoring progress towards the Government's commitment to restore 280,000 hectares of peatland by 2050 and provides a standardised framework for recording restoration activities, funding, delivery partners, habitat outcomes and restoration progress. Each record represents a peatland restoration delivery unit and includes information on the location, extent, habitat, restoration actions, funding sources and restoration status of peatland restoration projects. The register combines information from multiple funding schemes and organisations using a common data standard.
